Jose Canseco has written another tell all book, "Vindicated: Big Names, Big Liars and The Battle to Save Baseball", due to be released April 1, 2008.
His first book (Juiced) rocked the baseball world by naming names such as Mark McGwire, Rafael Palmeiro, Juan Gonzalez, Pudge Rodrigues and more as users of steroids and performance enhancing drugs.
Juiced climbed to #1 in The New York Times Bestseller List. Jose was later called to testify before Congressional hearings but was kept out of George Mitchell's "Mitchell's Report" half baked news conference.
Canseco is back naming names with his second book in an attempt to set the record straight. One of the biggest names appears to be Yankees star Alex Rodriguez. ARod has refused to address this issue beyond stating "It's over as far as I'm concerned" (Breitbart, March 26, 5:59 pm).
Baseball tried to discredit this oft troubled former Major Leaguer. He's back for more and perhaps another bestseller? Stay tuned for a follow up once Vindicated has been released. Hopefully he'll go beyond players names and expose managers, general managers, coaches and owners in the know.
