Why? Why are the Dallas Cowboys chasing after Pacman Jones and all of his negative baggage? Face it, the Cowboys already have a long history of not being able to control their players from multiple drug arrests, DWI, disorderly conducts, rape, over doses... right on down to their former Super Bowl Champion Coach Barry Switzer's arrest for carrying a gun into an airport.

Jones was suspended by NFL Commissioner Goodall for the entire 2007 season. This was the first time in 44 years a player was banned for non-drug related conduct.

The Dallas Cowboys are a team on the rise. Team chemistry has finally returned to a high after years of bickering on and off the field. Is now the time to introduce Pacman Jones? I think not. Dallas originally offered Tennessee a seventh round draft pick. Now they've upped the ante to include an undisclosed player in addition to a draft pick.

With all of the talent available and soon to enter via draft... what is the Cowboys front office thinking? This is a win win situation for Tennessee. They'll get to dump a distraction, large contract, troubled player while gaining multiple players in return. For Dallas, there is no upside by introducing a volatile player into a clubhouse this squad has worked very hard to finally calm down.

Local talk radio must be having a field day with this one. The city of Dallas and fans love their Cowboys. All collective heads are scratching over this bogus move.
